Welcome to the Parent & Child Class!
The Parent & Child class will meet every Saturday from 9:00 am - 10:45 am. To limit our group size only one parent will be allowed to attend class with their child this year. The first class will be on Saturday, September 11.
Mrs. Hirsch, your Parent & Child teacher, will send a letter to all the Parent & Child class families prior to the first class. The letter will include information about Mrs. Hirsch and what to expect and bring on your first days of the Parent & Child class.
Class Orientation and Meetings
Parent & Child orientation will be on Wednesday, September 2 from 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Hobson School.
This meeting will be too long and boring to bring children (but we hope not for you!). The purpose of orientation is to help you become acquainted with me, Mrs. Hirsch, the other families, and learn about what to expect in the Parent & Child class. You will also meet with members of the Parent Board to learn more about co-oping at Hobson School.
In an effort to limit our group size, only the parent who will participate the most in the classroom should attend orientation. Masks will be required for everyone during orientation.
You may buy a Hobson tote bag at the meeting. The Hobson totes are a nice size for every stage of our program and easier for your child to use than a backpack.
