Hobson's Big Kid Winter Camps are for children ages 5–8 (member siblings and alumni).

Camp Details
This is an exclusively outdoor winter camp for 5–8 year old children who are NOT currently enrolled at Hobson (member siblings and alumni).
Big Kid Winter Camp invites children to play in nature and discover the great outdoors, including the forest preserve that surrounds Hobson School, during the winter months. This exclusively outdoor enrichment program is an extension of our summer program where children imagine and create as they explore the unique art materials, construct and build with loose parts, work together, and play games. All of our camp staff are teachers with degrees in education and a passion for the outdoors.
Registration Details
Tuition Rate: $200. Full payment is due with registration, if you choose to un-enroll before class begins a non-refundable deposit of $75 will be kept and $125 will be refunded. No refund will be issued within a week prior to the start of camp, exceptions for hardship will be considered. If a class(es) is canceled due to inclement weather (“feels like” temperatures less than 20 degrees Fahrenheit, rain, or icy conditions), the program will schedule one makeup session. Note there will be no camp on March 29 or 30 due to Spring Break. One makeup day per session will be offered on April 12 and 13 if there is a cancellation.
Space is limited to 20 participants per camp session.
Wait List
If you do not get a spot, please put your name on the wait list. If a spot becomes available, you will be contacted and payment will be collected at that time.
To Complete Registration
If you are able to obtain a spot, we will be contacting you on November 21 with a link to complete your Registration Contract and $200 payment via Jovial. Your registration is not considered complete until your payment and contract have been received. If we do not receive payment by 12/1, your spot will be forfeited. (There is a non-refundable registration fee of $75.00. Should you submit payment and need to cancel participation, you will receive a refund in the amount of $125.00). No refund will be issued within a week prior to the start of camp, exceptions for hardship will be considered.
