Welcome to the Parent & Child Class!
The Parent-Child class will meet every Saturday from 9:00 – 10:45 a.m.. The first class will be on Saturday, September 6.
Mrs. Schisgall, your Parent-Child teacher, will send a letter to all the Parent-Child class families before the first class. The letter will include information about Mrs. Schisgall and what to expect and bring on your first day of the Parent-Child class.
Class Orientation and Meetings
Parent-Child orientation will be on Wednesday, August 27, from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Hobson School.
This meeting will be too long and boring to bring children (but we hope not for you!). The purpose of orientation is to help you become acquainted with Hobson’s Executive Director Ms. Wilson, Mrs. Schisgall, the other families, and learn about what to expect in the Parent-Child class. You will also meet with members of the Parent Board to learn more about co-oping at Hobson School.
Please have the parent who will participate the most in the classroom attend orientation.
Tote bags will be available for purchase at the meeting. The Hobson totes are a nice size for every stage of our program and are easier for your child to use than a backpack.
