Summer and Winter Camps at Hobson School
Hobson School offers Preschool Summer Camp (current preschool students), Big Kid Summer Camp, and Winter Camp each year! Big Kid Summer Camp and Winter Camp are open to Hobson alumni and, as space allows, community members ages 5–8.
Camp Hobson camps offer a classic outdoor camp experience. Our campers explore the great outdoors, imagine and create with unique art materials, construct and build with loose parts, as well as work together and play games. All activities are held outdoors. Your child will come home with a big smile, glowing eyes, and dirty clothes. Camp Hobson staff are teachers with degrees in education and a passion for the outdoors!
Big Kid Summer Camp
Join Hobson’s all-outdoor Big Kid Summer Camp for weeks filled with nature play, exploration, and creative outdoor experiences designed especially for children ages 5–8. Each one-week session encourages curiosity, movement, water play, and plenty of fun in the sun in a joyful, supportive outdoor setting.
Preschool Summer Camp
Give your preschooler 9 more days of Hobson joy at Hobson’s two-week, all-outdoor Preschool Summer Camp! Designed for children ages 3–5, each session is filled with nature play, exploration, and creative outdoor experiences in a warm, familiar Hobson setting. Preschool Camp is open to children currently enrolled in Hobson’s preschool program (Parent–Child students are not eligible).
Big Kid Winter Camp
Big Kid Winter Camp invites children ages 5–8 to play in nature and explore the great outdoors throughout the winter months, including the forest preserve surrounding Hobson School. This exclusively outdoor enrichment program is an extension of our summer program and gives children the opportunity to stay active, curious, and connected to nature—even in cold weather. After all, we believe there’s no bad weather, only bad clothes!
